We hired Moisture Master Pros to look into some persistent water infiltration issues that a series of roofers and masonry contractors were unable to address. Josh's combination of expertise and latest equipment (drone inspection!) quickly uncovered issues with our flashing, as well as some other brick pointing issues that had been missed by the others. Within a day we had a detailed proposal, and Josh was extremely quick to respond to any questions. Although there were tricky access issues with our roof, Josh was creative in finding ways to get the job done, and he kept very high standards with the interior repairs that we needed. Honest and professional.  Here is my story.  Please note that i only met Josh's company via the internet in ascertaining a company to address a minor leak in our finished basement.   Josh was the second of two companies that we interviewed to assess the situation.  Company #1 came in, without any wall penetrating equipment, assessed our situation and recommended that we needed to install a french drain on one side of the house at an estimated cost of approximately $4,500.  hence, we reviewed their proposal/diagram and then decided to call in a second company for another opinion.  Josh, via his company Moisture Master Pros, came in, with his moisture meter and wall penetrating temperature sensor, and immediately scanned the area in question.  Looking at the readings, he then went outside and checked the area on the outside wall that was where our basement window was located.  he came in and brought me outside to show me that the bottom sill of our window was not properly sealed and was able to show me on his equipment how air (and possibly water) could run under that sill and into the house via driving rain storms.  thus, he assessed that the fix may simply be sealing the bottom sill of the window at a cost of less than $10.   to double check this assessment, he went back inside and rescanned the entire area for any compromises in the wall, window or floor.  upon confirming he concluded that resealing the bottom window sill will resolve the issue.   i immediately thanked Josh and noted that his integrity did not stand in the way of generating a sale because he knew the recommendation of company #1 walking in the door.   Had i not brought Josh in, we would have been struggling to fund an unnecessary costly repair.   As a result, I am a customer for life and Josh will be my one and only call should any other situation arise in the future.  You will not be disappointed if you give him a shot.

We’ve had issues with our 3+ year old home as it relates to leaks and water damage for the past 2+ years. One thing we’ve learned is that if you’re buying new construction in Fishtown buyer beware. These contractors are cutting corners and getting away with it. Enter Josh and his team. We’ve had them come out and work on two major leaks in our house now, one from the roof and one in the front of the house. Basic areas that should have been sealed by any competent contractor that weren’t. When we started getting water in the front of the house I immediately said “we have to call Josh.” Josh and his team are the only people We trust to get the job done and get it done right. They have a warranty for their work and handle themselves in the most professional manner. Best of all, we’ve had no issues since the moisture pro team has come out and worked their magic. My only slight critique is that some of the plaster on the new drywall installed was painted over while still wet so it has since cracked in a few places. Minor cosmetic repairs we will need to make on those areas but for me the peace of mind of having a leak free home is worth it’s weight in gold. Would recommend this team to anyone. Five stars!
